Venus Goes to Heaven

In the beginning there were
unusual, unlimited stars to pick from.
The gods had to just go anywhere
and unless they had no taste,
they chose planets
because they made steady light.

The Goddess most lovely
founded a planet most pure and white.
She named it Venus.
Her planet was second
from a sun in a solar system
in a galaxy called the Milky Way.
It was dark on one side
and it was bright on the other.
It had 225 days in a year.

One day Venus had to just
go home to Heaven
to get years of love
from kings of the universe,
to get hugs for lovers
to hug themselves.
Then they had the most
loving galaxy in the universe.
Then both humans and gods
had love in their hearts forever.
