Genevieve Sue (Allen) Freeman
was a Denver artist, Buddhist and alcohol-prevention counselor. She is pictured here by the South Platte River with her dog, Walter Mitty. She graduated from East High School, and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in fine art from the University of Colorado at Denver and Denver University. She was a counselor at Alcoholics Anonymous for 15 years. She is survived by a son, Greg; two sisters, Carolyn Reed, Denver, and Patricia O'Brien, Chicago; and two grandchildren. She had an exquisitely wicked sense of humor and will be remembered as a superior being by all who knew her.
